Terms of Service

By accessing and using Fakturos ("Service", "Platform"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our Service.

Fakturos is an online invoicing platform designed for tradespeople and freelancers in Denmark. The Service allows you to:

• Create and manage professional invoices
• Track payments and customer information
• Generate PDF invoices
• Send invoices via email
• Maintain records for tax and bookkeeping purposes

To use the Service, you must create an account. You are responsible for:

• Providing accurate and complete information
• Maintaining the security of your account credentials
• All activities that occur under your account
• Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use

You retain ownership of all content you create using the Service (invoices, customer data, etc.). By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to process and store this content solely for providing the Service.

You are responsible for ensuring that your content does not violate any laws or third-party rights.

Fakturos offers both free and paid subscription plans. For paid subscriptions:

• Payments are processed securely through Stripe
• Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually in advance
• Prices are in Danish Kroner (DKK) and include 25% VAT
• You may cancel at any time; access continues until end of billing period

The Service, including its original content, features, and functionality, is owned by Fakturos I/S and protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works based on the Service without our express written permission.

Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.

By using the Service, you consent to the collection and use of information as described in our Privacy Policy.

We strive to maintain 99.9% uptime. However, the Service may be temporarily unavailable due to:

• Scheduled maintenance (with advance notice)
• Emergency updates or security patches
• Circumstances beyond our reasonable control

Our total liability for any claims arising from these terms or your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Fakturos I/S and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the Service or violation of these terms.

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Denmark, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

Any disputes arising from these terms shall first be attempted to be resolved through good-faith negotiations. If negotiations fail, disputes shall be submitted to the courts of Denmark with exclusive jurisdiction in Copenhagen.

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes via email or through the Service. Your continued use after such modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
